Founded in 2005 in Ellicott City, Maryland, Emmanuel Care Center (ECC) is the first assisted living facility established to serve the Korean community in the region. Rooted in Christian ethics and the spirit of love and service, we are committed to treating every resident with the same care and respect we would give to our own family.
Our residents include elderly Korean-Americans, individuals with physical disabilities, and those with cognitive impairments such as dementia.
We offer professional medical care, personalized rehabilitation programs, nutritious and balanced meals, and engaging daily activities designed to promote physical health, emotional stability, and spiritual well-being.
With a team of compassionate, experienced caregivers
on site 24/7 and readily available medical professionals, ECC provides a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment where families can feel confident entrusting their loved ones.

Message from Director
Over the past 20 years of running Emmanuel Care Center, I’ve shed both tears of sorrow and joy. Saying goodbye to those we’ve grown to love has brought deep sadness, but those precious relationships have also brought healing to my own heart and helped me grow stronger and wiser.
This journey has never been easy, but over time I’ve come to believe, without a doubt, that this path was a calling—a mission God placed on my heart and a true blessing in my life. With gratitude and renewed commitment, I will continue to serve each resident with dignity, sincerity, and love—ensuring that Emmanuel Care Center remains a place of compassion, peace, and respect for every family we care for.
